Hi, my name is Sean Pettinger, the founder and sole operator of Pettinger Drones. What started as a personal passion for aviation has grown into a professional service offering high-quality aerial photography, videography, and drone-based solutions across New South Wales.
I hold a Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot) and an Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) as well as >25kg RePL licence and ReOC. I’ve also built and flown custom FPV drones, combining technical skills with a creative eye for capturing unique perspectives from the sky.
My background includes volunteering with the NSW State Emergency Service, where I’ve participated in land search and rescue, emergency coordination, and first aid. I’m also studying a Bachelor of Science at Western Sydney University, with a focus on environmental systems – a passion that drives many of the services I offer, from environmental monitoring to media production.
